Sandy earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN and her Masters Degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a licensed psychologist as well as a public health nurse. Sandy has extensive experience working with all ages in home care, long term care and outpatient clinics. Her area of expertise is in mental health assessment and treatment. She works with clients primarily in the southeast metro area as well as south-eastern Minnesota. Sandy joined Matrix in September 2002. | |

Jenny earned her Associates Degree in Nursing at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. She has extensive experience working in the acute care hospital setting with a variety of populations who have experienced neurological conditions including strokes, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, and epilepsy. Jenny also has experience working in skilled nursing and assisted living care environments caring for seniors. Jenny joined Matrix in 2009. | |

Judy earned her nursing diploma from Oak Park Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from St. Francis College in Joliet, Illinois, and her Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has extensive experience working with home care and hospice clients, and formal training and experience in grief counseling. Judy's sense of humor enables her to establish therapeutic relationships with even the most resistant clients, and her persistence in problem-solving helps keep clients in their homes. Judy sees clients in south Minneapolis, and has been with Matrix since March 1998. | |

Sherri earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Sherri has over 10 years of nursing experience, including hospital, homecare, hospice and nursing home care. Sherri began working for Matrix in November 2008 as one of the Matrix On Call RN Care Consultants. | |

Karen earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, summa cum laude. She is certified in Gerontological Nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a licensed public health nurse. Karen is an associate member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Karen has extensive experience working with elder adults in long term care and as an educator working with long-term care nurses and care providers over the past 26 years. Karen serves Matrix clients in the southern metro area and joined Matrix in September 2002. She has served as the Clinical Supervisor since 2004 and as the Vice President of Case Management services for Matrix AdvoCare Network in 2007. Karen has served as the Director of Nursing for Matrix since March of 2009. | |

Cheryl first earned an Associates Degree in Nursing from Atlantic Union
College in Massachusetts. She then went on to practice nursing in Virginia
and eventually moved to Minnesota. She has resided in Minnesota for 18 years
and earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing at Metropolitan State
University.
Cheryl
has a holistic approach when working with clients and their families and has
practiced nursing for more than 20 years.
Additionally, she has experience in gastrointestinal care. Cheryl is
a certified massage therapist and has an interest in complimentary
therapies. In her spare time Cheryl enjoys photography.
Cheryl has been with Matrix since April of 2010. |

Karen earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the College of St. Catherine in Saint Paul, MN. Karen has over 26 years of nursing experience including hospital, medical surgical, dialysis, and ICU. In these roles she has gained expertise in case management, family dynamics, and managing difficult patients. In her spare time she volunteers as a Meals on Wheels coordinator. Karen has been with Matrix since April 2010. | |

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winona State University, Winona, MN. She earned her Masters degree in the Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist program at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She is licensed as a public health nurse for the state of Minnesota. Amy has experience working with adults and elders in home care and acute care settings. Amy has been with Matrix since March of 2007. | |
| Karen Wahlman, RN | ||

Karen earned her nursing degree from the College of St. Catherine's in 1992 and has 18 years of nursing experience. Karen began her nursing career in long term care working with clients on the chemical dependency/psychology unit. She has extensive experience in wound care and diabetic monitoring and teaching. Karen has served in the Director of Nursing position for a long term care facility and for a home care agency while also caring for home care patients. In addition to caring for elders, Karen also has extensive experience working as a pediatric nurse providing private duty care for children needing skilled nursing care and has worked with behavioural and educational specialists to enhance disabled childrens learning potential. Karen began working for Matrix in 2008 as an RN Care Consultant and serves clients throughout the metro area. Karen is a current member of the American Nurses Association. | |
